Neptune is going Direct!!! YAY!!!

FINALLY, fellow-Pisceans, we might actually make some "progress," however you define that!

The following is from: http://www.cainer.com/

Pisces, Thursday, 5 November 2009

Remember that movie, Groundhog Day? Bill Murray was very funny and the whole production was extremely clever. Just imagine a world in which almost exactly the same things happen, at the same moment, every single day. How dreadful it would be to keep going round in such circles. Er... wouldn't it? That is not what you have been doing lately, is it? Neptune changes direction now. Even if you have felt trapped in a repetitious cycle, you will soon find a way to break free and plough fresh, rewarding, ground.

Pisces Mythology

(From the book "Astrology for Lovers" by Liz Green)

The Pisces Myth

In many fairy tales there is a peculiar and enchanting figure, sometimes called an ondine or melusine, sometimes called a mermaid, who lives in the depths of the sea or a vast lake, and falls in love with a mortal man. This legend may also be seen in the legend of the Swan Prince - although here the creature from the 'other realm' bears feathers rather than scales. And these ancient stories, in all their various forms, have the same basic theme: the union of a mortal, an ordinary flesh-and-blood human, with something from another level of reality. The meeting is fraught with difficulties. There are always conditions attached. And it usually ends in disaster or difficulty, not because it is doomed from the start, but because of the ineptitude of the mortal who attempts to impose his own laws or values on his mysterious, other-worldly partner.

Usually the melusine agrees to live on dry land, and inhabit a mortal body, so long as her mate observes one special condition. He must not ask her a particular question, or look in a particular box, or enter a particular room at a particular time. In other words, there must be respect for the mysteries of this other realm. And the mortal, driven by ordinary human curiosity and lack of respect for this magical dimension, inevitably asks the question or opens the box. So the bond is broken, the melusine disappears into the depths again, and he is left to sorrow. Or, sometimes, she drags him down with her, drowning him in her embrace.

The motif, which we can find in several myths and fairy tales, is am story which has special meaning for Pisces. As we have seen, Pisces is the last sign, the completion of the cycle. Every sign leaves its trace in Pisces; there is not so much a particular Piscean dilemma as that Pisces embodies the human dilemma. In this last of the zodiacal signs is represented all of man's helplessness, his longings, his dreams, his needs, his powerlessness in the face of the universe, his delusions of grandeur, his longing for love, his sense of a mystery or a divine source which he strives for, yet cannot wholly reach without great sacrifice.

You might say that in every Pisces, symbolized by the two fishes trying to swim in opposite directions yet bound together by a golden cord, there is this dilemma of the meeting of two dimensions. There is the ordinary mortal side, which is used to facts and realities of a tangible kind. Eat, sleep, make love, and die - or bread and circuses, as the Romans used to say. And there is also a melusine - or, in the case of Pisces women, the masculine equivalent - which inhabits the dark depths, and which occasionally flashes its tail above the water, catching the sunlight, entrancing the mortal on the shore. How this meeting is dealt with is the story of each Piscean life. Some Pisceans simply follow the mermaid down, forgetting that human lungs cannot survive underwater. Here we have the derelicts of humanity, the lines of the junkies and the chronic alcoholics and the hopeless, the waster, the despairing, the abject. It is these whom Christ, in Christian mythology, declared blessed, for they have sacrificed everything of ordinary life and for their suffering have earned the key to another realm.

For other Pisceans, the fairy tale has a different ending. It is here that we can see the genius of men such as Einstein - where the melusine, the glimpse of other realms and of a universe barely comprehensible to the ordinary mind in its majesty and infinity - is translated through the human brain, offering to the world a charting of the unknown waters.

Obviously, not every Piscean is an Einstein or a drunkard. But perhaps the task of every Piscean is to come to terms in some way with the transpersonal realm, and to have the courage to be its mouthpiece. Here we find the poets and musicians, the great actors and playwrights, the visionaries and mystics who attempt to bring to ordinary life a glimpse of something else. This can be through a work of art, or it can exist in the humblest expressions of human love.

It is not easy, perhaps, to be born as Pisces. Many Pisceans simply cannot accept the size of the challenge. And, after all, who can blame them? It is not easy to make peace with melusine; and our education does not help us, since it tends to emphasize that anybody with the secret life of the Pisces must be at best a lazy daydreamer, and at worst emotionally disturbed. The fairy tale world in which many Pisces children live is criticized, bludgeoned, mocked or argued out of them very early. And it's important to remember here that Pisces is a mutable - that is, a changeable - sign, malleable, easily influenced, often hungry to please. Pisces is more easily distorted, more easily pressured by a hostile environment, than any other sign. So the melusine calls unheard from the depths of the soul, and the average Piscean disguises himself from himself by a rationalistic attitude toward life.

Another important mythological motif that tells us something about the Fish is the Christian myth itself. When I use the word 'myth' here I do not mean to imply something true or untrue, but mean it in the sense that all myths are apertures into another world. If one is a Christian, then the New Testament is truth while the religious symbols of other faiths are myth; if one is either non-Christian or open-minded, one can see that all myths describe God. So let's look at the Christian myth.

The Christian era is sometimes known as the Age of Pisces. Without going into lengthy explanations about precessions of the equinoxes and other astronomical phenomena, let's just say that about every two thousand years a new zodiacal sign colours man's history and culture. You can see the traces of this sign at work particularly in the religious symbols that emerge during the time it is in power. The Fish is one of the great symbols of Christianity; and in this symbol can be found many important themes that pertain to Pisces, both in this broad way and in the individual life of the person born under the sign.

Firstly, there is the aspiration. Before the coming of Christianity, man and God were two different things; there could be communication between them, there could be enmity or friendship; but man was not like God and God was not like man, and never the twain could meet. But one of the essential meanings of the Christian myth is that God incarnates as man: that there is a halfway point, an intermediary, a bridging of the two worlds. We are back to our friend the melusine here. But, instead of melusine, read soul or spirit. So, we can, if we want to consider the religious aspect of Pisces, say that there is a strong awareness in many Pisceans, especially the more mystical ones, of themselves - and the whole of mankind - being some kind of halfway house between animal and divine.

You can imagine that this creates problems. Being aware of two dimensions like this is pretty confusing, especially when the one tends to pop up when the other should be operating. No wonder Pisces is said to be confused a lot of the time.

Second to the aspiration is the urge towards self-sacrifice. Now this can be of the noblest kind, and one of the characteristic renditions of this can be found in the lives of the Saints. These figures - whether one believes in Saints or not - are in a sense the epitome of this side of Pisces. Everything devoted to the ideal - whether it is God, a country, a people, the poor, the suffering, or whatever. Pisces may often be found searching desperately for a cause to which he can devote himself, even sacrifice himself. It is an ecstasy which the other signs want no part of, since they all still have left some shred of a personal sense of their own 'I'ness. Pisces doesn't. It's the completion of the cycle, the end. And there's a very strong tendency to want to give up everything, offer it up, disintegrate, disappear.

Compassion and love of an impersonal, unbiased kind are also Piscean virtues extolled in this last era. Love thy neighbour as thyself, turn the other cheek - these are Piscean aspirations. Of course you have to remember that there's another fish to the pair, too. But much of the history of religion in the last two thousand years has forgotten about that second fish. It's locked down in the basement, and popularly referred to as the Devil.

You get the picture. We can look objectively at the myths of the Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, or whomever, and see how some of these mythical heroes and motifs fit particular zodiac signs. If we can strip ourselves of our prejudices, and remember that every age has considered its teaching the only true one, we can perceive that in the figure of Christ we have a model of Pisces - as the sign would like to be. And in the figure of the Devil, we have the dark fish, the other fish, which we must now consider.

I stared up at the surface of the water from the bottom of the pool. Watched the sunlight dance gracefully among the ripples. Life was much simpler under the water. No one yelling, I could hear or feel anything moving near me. A fish underwater is a marvelous thing, connected to the waves, flowing with the tides.

Is it just me, or is it all Pisceans?

I realized I had masochistic tendencies years ago, but still can't get over them. I just realized I'm actually addicted to suffering. I realized this for the first time when a guy I was sort of starting to "fall" for suddenly showed signs of honest interest in me, and, to my surprise, I completely lost interest in him! Then I realized I actually thrive on heartache. Happiness would be boring to me!
Because there's no tension!

This might be justified by my upbringing and all, but I'm wondering if any of you feel the same..and not just in matters of love, but everything else..like..success in getting what you want. there were times in my life when I actually had to "chop my own feet from under me"-to put it like that-just before I was about to reach my goal, because I was afraid the tension would end, and I'd be lost!

Neptune's First Birthday

From Jon Cainer:

"Neptune takes 164 years to orbit the Sun. As it was discovered in 1846, it is now about to have its first birthday. First? When it has surely existed since time immemorial? Yes, first. For the same reason that you celebrated your first birthday after Earth had completed one orbit since the day that you were 'discovered' in human form. You too, may have existed before this... but you were invisible; without individual identity or influence. At the risk of sounding a bit woo-woo, I am coming to see how Neptune symbolises our potential to deepen our relationship with the infinite."

Cainer wrote this back in June, but we are still feeling the effects of Neptune's movement of completion of its first orbit.....

Here are a couple articles that talk about what this means (with some excerpts I chose!):

__NEPTUNE'S RETURN, PART 1__ by Boots Hart

http://www.daykeeperjournal.com/aarch09/0909sep/boots.shtml

Planet Neptune (not to be confused with the Greek god of oceans known to Romans as Poseidon) is currently in the process of transiting the zodiacal position in which it was officially discovered on September 23, 1846. And that it’s doing so (and thus will always do so) in late Aquarius says a great deal.

Aquarius is the sign of individuality and the collective. It’s society, and our place in that society. It’s the mass market, and the income we derive from that marketplace. Aquarius encompasses all the systems, energy sources, companies and corporations—the ideas which become products and the ideas which delineate, operate, report on and regulate the whole of society. And its systemic interactions. And its attempts to implement change, resist change, innovate and preserve stability (if not the status quo)—all at once.

Thus does Aquarius prove its importance in our individual lives. How we deal with interactions of the Aquarian kind (and 11th house matters, which always have a bit of an Aquarian undertone) becomes the "cause" which generates the "effect" of what we get from the world.

So to have Neptune—the final ruler of Pisces (the zodiac’s 12th and final sign) returning in Aquarius? That ties the two signs together. And on a more practical level it also says a lot about why so many things are now coming to an end. Or threatening to "go away." And why life seems so awash in confusion and deception, why ideals seem so good yet so unworkable…and yet…so… attractive.

Believe it or not, it’s all right on schedule—which may be some comfort. Or not.

<snip!>

Once confronted by someone wanting to know when (and how) Neptune issues could be made real, the only way to answer was this: Never. And why? Because when something Neptunian becomes real enough to pin down it’s no longer Neptune—it’s Saturn.

<snip!>

So what’s a mortal to do? The answer is simple—though getting to the answer is not simple for anyone. The rule with Neptune is that since we cannot know, that we allow ourselves NOT TO KNOW. Right—lose the ego thing, and all the fears and expectations which go with it. Grappling with this idea is very stressful because it stirs our sense of (ego) threat. But once we get there? When we don’t require ourselves to know the answer (or be right) we let go. We cease to stress. And just realizing that takes defensiveness and ego down another tick or two. In the end, allowing ourselves NOT TO KNOW is not only sometimes a necessity, but a gift. And once we allow ourselves NOT TO KNOW, then we can learn, and learn better. Thus can Neptune be liberation and defeat all in one, and thus is the relinquishment of ego the true birth of the Self—a freed Self.

<snip!>

You’ve heard that old saying "only the Shadow knows"? Well the 12th house is the house of our psyche’s Shadow—so yes, the Shadow does know! And in the Neptunian, Piscean 12th the question really is about whether you are willing to let go. The classic Neptunian equation (sounding much like something out of Alice in Wonderland) says where Neptune or Pisces is concerned, that which you think most real is likely not to be real at all, while that which you think highly unlikely will ultimately surprise you by proving true. Why would that be? It’s because Neptune lies beyond Saturn—beyond our mortal known. The minute we glue something down in our mind, we’ve defined it. And that’s Saturn—the Neptune thing is different.

And here's __NEPTUNE'S RETURN, PART 1__ by Boots Hart

http://www.daykeeperjournal.com/boots.shtml

Some lessons here are obvious: children aren't objects. Nor are they possessions to be proud of like puppies. Nor are they "wealth." They're people. And though they may be the future, it's adults who run the world they grow into. So those adults need to set a good example by working on themselves so as to be able to grow a stable and well structured (Saturn) reality filled with (Neptunian) wonder and possibilities for those children to grow into.

Another implication worth considering (though to many distinctly uncomfortable) is that given our world's finite capacities and Earth's ever-expanding population, at some point humans will have to confront the idea that part of being a responsible adult human being is the need to balance one's natural, biological, emotional (Neptunian) yearnings to have a family against all the hard-core Saturn facts. When will that happen? In purely Neptunian terms, never is too soon, but the sooner, the better.

With Neptune, one return takes a very long time: 164.79 years, to be precise. And because of yearly retrogrades, there isn't one Neptune Return chart—the return occurs over a span of time, indicating an evolving process which began on April 12, 2009 and which ends on February 7, 2010.

Given that this return is a "process," we can expect the whole of this year (into next) to be Neptunian—which is to say it's going to be mentally unsettled, with intermittently sunny and delightful moments and showers of emotional confusion (accompanied by possible strikes of disappointment) here and there. In keeping with the original discovery chart, we can expect our highs and lows to center around all the issues already discussed, with the occasional realization coming upon us that no matter what ends we come to, they do indeed justify the means because in the end, we get what we sow in life. Our greatest triumphs will somehow result from having been greatly tested, but seldom will we see the context until we see it within the framework of the outcome…That's the Neptunian/Piscean way.

<snip>

As a wise and wonderful man once said, a solution is only the solution if it works for everyone—regardless of their beliefs. Or lack of beliefs. Also their age, gender, orientation, interests, financial or human status. That recognition speaks to Neptune, the ultimate symbol of acceptance and the tolerance of uncertainty which comes when we don't set up conditions and barriers. In Neptunian times we learn about our ability to survive—and maybe even more importantly, we confront how it may be a human necessity to experience vulnerability, which may explain why “bad things happen.”

In such painful moments, however, lie opportunities, moments when through being made vulnerable we learn we can survive and live to become a more compassionate, accepting and understanding person. A wiser human who, in being less ego driven, is thus more Neptunian and open to being loved, treasured, respected and cherished in life, in our own eyes and in the hearts of our fellow human beings.

...I wrote this back a while ago...

Word of mouth, thoughts of clouds, endless sky, restricted time,
pain I defuse,
As I have this blank expression, the currents undertoe intertwine,
Knots in my heart and belly,
Wish I can just have her, solid and steady,
Mental blocks, I feel that I am ready, but understanding of the heart,
Its pain and happiness, is what rises and falls to its own tune being,
Dancing ferociassly is my heart, ready to devour my loves offerings,
Take her hand and caress her hair, eyes that make my time not even care,
At this point I know that my Queen awaits me, and when our lives intersect,
Tasteful fruit juices, undeniable pheromones, I got you honey and thats a bet,
Loyalty is my #1 rule, I know that sometimes I can be cold, but I can be just as hot,
Im not trippin' just sticking to the facts,
Now I wave my hand here in my cacoon, mystic thoughts slippin' through the cracks...
Patient I have become, cause I know that in the long run,
The equinox will happen, longer than an eclipse, the Moon God will have his Sun,
And thats just what I want....
The ONE...

136 trillion years ago, a nameless prepubescent boy cheerfully skipped along the shore of a shimmering ocean. He stopped walking momentarily, kneeled down, extended his right hand and grabbed himself a handful of sand grains. He then stood up and cast aside all of the grains of sand in his right hand except for one. This single grain of sand remained in the palm of his right hand while he gazed at it.

After several moments had elapsed, various scenes began spontaneously manifesting in front of him. Countless atoms whirled at dizzying speeds. However, he focused his attention on only one of these atoms. Consequently, the atom in question appeared to expand in size. Numerous violently active stars occupied the space around the nucleus of this atom. The boy now shifted his attention to one of these stars.

A planet was observed orbiting this star. It was a planet encircled by two rings, one from its North Pole to its South Pole and the other around its equator. The boy gazed more and more intensely at this planet. A pink-coloured sky became visible. There were four helicopters in this sky and behind them was a floating creature resembling a colossal tortoise. However, this tortoise did not look the same as the tortoises of our world. Its body (including its shell) had a bluish hue and its tail was much longer than the tail of an average tortoise of our world.

The boy's vision had now been propelled downward. He began to see millions of spherical structures on the surface of this planet. These spherical structures came in a wide range of sizes and resembled igloos. Now the boy had shifted his attention to one of these spheres in the top right-hand corner of his field of vision. He could now view what was transpiring within this sphere.

There was a man seated on a chair which was glowing so brightly that the boy struggled to look at it directly. This man had red-coloured skin, abundant black hair on his head and sparkling blue eyes. In front of this man was a screen stuck on a wall. On this screen, a bald man who also had red-coloured skin and blue eyes was talking in a language composed of whistles and clicking sounds. The seated man responded to this threat with a melodic whistle. He then arose from his radiant seat and went through a hole behind him. The man had now emerged outdoors. In the pink sky far, far above his head were thousands of creatures which looked exactly like fishes (except that they were vastly larger in size). They came in every colour of the rainbow and even in colours which we cannot see through our regular eyesight.

Suddenly, everything started to fade away. The red-skinned man with black hair and blue eyes, the spherical structures, the flying fishes..... everything. All of these wondrous scenes had completely vanished from that young boy's vision. The boy now once again saw the shore he was walking on as well as the beautiful ocean it was connected to. He also noticed that the single grain of sand which was in the palm of his right hand was no longer there. The wind had taken it. The boy looked up at the clear blue sky and smiled because he was alive.

The remembering worse.

(I am just going to write this as it comes so forgive me if this gets a little long. I won't force you to read it, I promise! :) )

I have never lost control of myself in love... till now. Boyfriends have come and gone in the past - I felt sad, I picked myself up, I carried on and so did life. None of this is happening to me right now, and I am a little perplexed. I am Sun, Moon, Venus in Pisces with a Cancer rising. Jealous much?? lol siiiiiiiiiigh.

One day, I fell in love with an Aquarian and we were together 2.5 years. Now I know a Pisces/Aquarian relationship is a challenge, but I love their charisma and vitality. I am part extrovert and part introvert... but my introversion can really take center stage at times and I just like to observe rather than participate. Aquarius pulls me along for the ride and I am fully entertained while he does all the social work. ;) He had many qualities that as a Pisces I could only admire, but I felt so lucky that I had someone with his strengths in my life. There were ups and downs, the sex was amazing BTW - I think he got off on my ability to be a bit of a vixen and then his getting off in turn got me off until it was just a whirlwind of magic and passion.

Somewhere along the way I failed to realize he was more of an alcoholic and druggie than he was willing to admit. I've done my own experimentation, but I don't get carried away and definitely don't require substances TO have fun. In my naiveté, I assumed that people I know are just like me and that those with real "problems" are definitely not in my circle. I hate to admit it, but I think that coming to this realization caused me to attach myself more to him (we have a Moon square Neptune in our synastry). Before I knew it, I became all caught up in him to the point that I started to lose touch with where I ended and he began. I've never felt so lost in someone as I felt in him - like an addiction, it felt so good and yet so frightening at the same time. It was agony and yet ecstasy. I like intensity, but it became too much for me. There were other things that led to our demise, but long story short - you guessed it, we broke up.

Our break up was slow and heart shattering for me. Like ripping off the band aid slowly, we kept seeing each other every few weeks and would make the most passionate love (that would make most of you jealous I am sure. lol.) which would then send us both into a whirlwind of confusion. Finally, he had to put his foot down and we stopped all contact. I felt each hair ripped from the roots and magnified. I can't understand this. I am usually good at realizing when something is just not working and I anticipate the break up, begin to gather the pieces of my heart and part with some tears, but life goes on!

I feel stuck in a time warp right now. I am having the hardest time accepting that this has ended, that this chapter in our lives is indeed over and will never, ever be again. Never. Be. Again. Those words drive a thousand knives into my heart... All those memories, our investment in each other, the intimacy we shared... just leaves blowing in the wind now. So hard to accept that!!! How can love turn into dust? It should be the thing we fight for more than life itself, but we let it go. We let it become extinct. I feel like a part of me has died and I can no longer look at things the way I used to. Some days I am okay, but sometimes - at night especially - there's a heavy cloud that weighs on me. I'm in the fog and I can't see a way out of here.

It's been 3 months now and I still have a candle burning for him in my heart. When I stop and think about it objectively, I realize that it is for the best and maybe sometimes love really is just not enough. Compatibility and common ground is a huge factor. I know these things, but my heart falls over and over into despair at this loss that feels so insurmountable. I know all the advice says that you need to blow out the candle, say goodbye, wish him well and then move on. How does one do this? Even the thought of truly letting go makes me nauseous. I tried to put away or get rid of some of the pictures of our "memories" the other day, took them all down off the walls and just sat with them for a few minutes. I couldn't do it. I put them all back again. Taking them down would mean letting go. I think. I can't touch them again... not yet. SO there they sit and here I am. Stuck in time, waiting for my life to move forward. I am stubbornly holding onto a flame that will never again burn. WTF! I have the freedom to do any number of things with my life with no restriction now, so why does the thought of that pale in comparison to having him in my life?

I have traveled the world, lived in dangerous 3rd world countries, been fearless in love and life, but no experience has been more difficult, not broken me more, brought me to my knees in full surrender of my hopes and dreams than the loss of this love.

There is nothing to be
done.

only accept it. . .

and hurt.

I think this is more of a vent than anything else. Sisters and friends tire of being listening ears sometimes. :)

Thanks for listening. xxx

The Meaning Of Life

The meaning of Life can be found among the infinite variety of expressions and forms that are associated with It.

It can be found when a child is born.

It can be found when a lioness protects a baby deer.

It can be found through the sight of only one visible star in a cloudy sky at night.

It can be found in the generosity of a drunkard.

It can be found when a mother forgives her daughter's killer.

It can be found when a man sacrifices himself to save a complete stranger.

It can be found as the sparkle in a child's eye.

It can be found through the smell of the morning dew.

It can be found as the dance between the Sun and the Moon during an eclipse.

It can be found sung to God by illiterate villagers.

It can be found through an elephant's shedding of tears for its dead calf.

It can be found when rain falls in summer.

It can be found when the Sun shines in winter.

It can be found in the lonely silence of space.

It can be found as the tears of a child.

It can be found through the unconditional love possessed by a dog even when abused by its owner.

It can be found as the righteous roar of thunder.

It can be found in the gentle swaying of an oak tree.

It can be found as the laughter of a child.

It can be found by our ability to learn from past mistakes.

It can be found as the majestic view gained standing on a mountain-top.

It can be found through the charity of those already poor.

It can be found as hope in situations which appear hopeless.

It can be found chirped by birds at dawn.

It can be found when the defeated rise to claim genuine victory.

It can be found when a fish successfully swims upstream even while struggling against the tide.

It can be found as the divinely inspired insanity of a man living on the streets.

It can be found by the courage of a disabled man who is ready to overcome all obstacles.

It can be found when a boy softly kisses his father on the nose.

It can be found as the colour of a flower.

It can be found when two people rise in love.

It can be found through inward freedom in spite of outward slavery.

It can be found when the blind see.

It can be found when the deaf hear.

It can be found when the lame walk.

It can be found when the mute speak.

It can be found when the dumb know.

It can be found everywhere.

It IS found everywhere!

Pisces Decans

I don't know if this has been discussed before but I was curious how each of you gets along with your fellow fish of each Decan. I know we tend to feel everyone likes us, but I have recently made an observation with my interactions with fellow fish in my real life interactions with the ones I know are Pisces. And honestly? I don't know that many fish.

I seem to get along splendidly with my fellow First Decan Pisces. I seem to know more fish under this Decan.

The only Pisces man I've dated have fallen under the Second Decan and I found them draining on me. This has put me off to Pisces men all together. I have also found that generosity is less outwardly appreciated by those under this Decan. But I do know that it could be just bad folks I've meet. This is just an observation.

The only Pisces folks I seem to know (that I know of) that fall under the Third Decan usually are Pisces/Aries cuspers. They were all guys and nothing more than casual friends.

Pisces and pisces = sooooo confusing

It is the single most beautiful matchup i have EVER had but we both were going backwards and forwards, confusing each other.
It was really horrible, and now a year on i still crave him.

Now there is a new one on the scene who seems so utterly into me, writing me poems and making me feel so good and then suddenly saying he is too busy to talk to me. I cant say i dont understand, because i do. They need their own space and hate to feel hemmed in. Plus us pisces are contraditions arent we! He probably likes me one day and hates me the next!

But why cant something so beautiful just work out for once?

Happy Full Moon in Pisces!

When the Moon is in Pisces, people will:

*stir up a little confusion
*think about escaping
*repent, feeling the end may be near
*fall hopelessly in love
*be strongly tempted to cheat
*feel lost and frightened
*wipe their tears and rejoice
*agree with everyone who scolds them
*give away their pets
*call in sick, then go out and feel guilty
*fall in love with the teacher
*secretly adore their vices
*give a few pennies to bums
*spend time in despair
*torture themselves with conflicting choices
*get into music, art or poetry
*get hooked on something
*renounce
*get hooked again
*renounce again
*sacrifice for love
*cry a little
*feel things ahead of time
*betray themselves slightly
*be able to understand God/dess and eternity
*feel sympathetic to everyone
*feel uncertainty, regret
*worry--briefly
*become involved with institutions
*think about changing their diet
*feel total love

FULL MOON IN PISCES happens when the Sun is in Virgo. Some very dramatic feelings are created! Appreciate the quality of life. Keep yourself busy...do a craft/art creation! Guard yourself against the "evil eye." Positive affirmations are extra-valuable now. Dance it out!

September

The Harvest Moon, Barley Moon, Fruit Moon, Nut Moon, Moon of Wisdom Drink a toast to Dionysus, the God of wine and ecstasy - The son of the Moon! Gather with friends to celebrate the vine with a bottle of good wine and good cheer. Catch the Moons reflection in your cup and raise it up in salutation, now drink in her essence and feel the presence of the God and Goddess.

So far from what I can gather from my other Pisces friends, Pisceans LOVE oral sex. Most of the ones I've asked about it like to receive and give it. Quite a few have professed a talent for it (I've never received any complaints).

Now I will put the question to my favorite school of fish. What are your feelings about oral? Likey? No Likey?

A Pisces man who was also a public servant is being celebrated and mourned this week.

Ted KENNEDY,
born February 22, 1932 at 3:58 AM in Dorchester (MA) (USA)
Sun in 2°32 Pisces, AS in 10°47 Capricorn,
Moon in 6°25 Virgo, MC in 6°49 Scorpio
Chinese Astrology: Water Monkey
Numerology: Birthpath 3

Like all Pisces children, he was like the "girl with the curl in the middle of her forehead: sometimes she was good, sometimes she was bad, and sometimes she was horrid." :-) Let's hope, when all is said and done, the good outweighs and bad and the horrid. ;-)
Rest in Peace, Senator.

Inspired by The Pisces Tribe (a.k.a. The School of Fish), my new music video "Whale Song"

An ode to my own watery Piscean nature, and dedicated to the Pisces Tribe on tribe.net

The piece consists of a few different motifs about the whale, the song starts out with lonely whale calls from the depths echoing out into infinity, then changes to a floaty whale ballet theme section. The first guitar solo floats gently along the ocean tides. The second solo represents the rushing water as the whale dives deep into the depths.
Enjoy dear Fishes, enjoy the fruit of your inspiration :D

Fish Intensity

We refer to it in our posts so here's a topic devoted to that Pisces + Pisces action. Diving into dangerous emotional depths to spiritual highs. Why is it so intense? Does intense serve a purpose, does intense scare you? Do you think the intensity mirrors who you really are as a person, if so, seeing the raw potential power in those moments, how do you feel?

Spill. Share.

Oh, and do you think when 2 other signs get together, what kind of intensity do you think they have? Two Air, Two Fire, and Two Earth?

can't stand being a pisces, despite the fact that only my sun and north node are in said sign and I have quite a few planets in the oppressive capricorn. woohoo. i'm illogical, detached from my emotions, pessimistic, nihilistic, cycosuicidal (ok, so that's just a reference to fellow Piscean Mike Muir) Three points to whomever gets that one. Anyhow, my point is I've always felt completely alone and even among the rest of my fishing friends I still feel like the oddball

Pisces Ascendant and Projection by Others

Ive been noticing this trend lately and i believe it has been happening all my life. It is only now that have become aware of it.
(Uranus the awakener is transiting on my 1st house)

Its so easy for others to project themselves unto me! So easy that whenever I ask them what they see in me, they end up telling me about themselves.

I wonder if my Jupiter in Pisces on the ascendant at 1`23 S is doing anything to augment the Pisces in me and therefore create a larger-than-life illusion.

The Pros:
-I'm a mystery to most people I meet and mystery is a fine fine thing :) as entailed by the way I express myself :P
-I have the advantage of knowing who they are before they even begin to comprehend who I am

The Cons:
-Much projection that I become the image of whatever they want me to be
-They project their past lovers onto me. One man even accused me of morphing into his ex for a second. I believe this occurred because of his reluctance to forget the past as well as my ability to act as a mirror to others. (Takes two to Tango)
-They project their negative parts, their problems, their issues onto me that if I didn't have a grounding of some sort Id be completely confused as to which one is myself and which one is the other person. Thankfully I have done some self-searching in the past. It helps me filter my water so vast :)
-I want to be seen for who I am too and not remain a projection of another.

It would be nice to find fellow familiar and the subtle Pisces with whom i can relate with.
so share your own experience on this :)

Can Pisces & Aries work?

I have been hanging out with this guy, Aries sun & moon w/ Libra rising, and things seem to be going well. We had agreed to nothing serious as he will be moving out of state in a couple months. However I just got laid off and now he is asking if I'd like to move with him. He is more distant than any other friends and/or lovers I have had in the past and I can't quite tell if it is just how he is or if he is holding himself back from allowing our relationship to develop. Usually I am pretty good at reading people, but for the life of me I can't figure him out! I have looked and looked and cannot find anything about relationships, good or bad, between Pisces and Aries. (I am Pisces sun, Cap moon & Virgo rising).
Thoughts?

I saw you yesterday. You always have the same look about you. It's like my vision becomes a little fuzzy, but in a good way.

I don't understand why I can't stop staring at you, I normally don't but I wouldn't mind being caught eventhough I am a little nervous.

I don't like being lost but you and I should get lost together.

I feel poetic when in pain.

Let's never wake up from this dream.

oh soo true ! kissing the slippery piscean, read on,comment, I'll post the other water signs too just for the heck of it (cancer & scorp)

It was weird but soo true of me ! I'm very into the other persons smell and if it's not my style (even if they do objectively smell good) I'm thinking the kiss wont be so hot, and yesss the kiss is a deal maker or breaker for me .

In the Pisces mind, the first step toward deciding whether or not to let you close is whether or not they feel comfortable with physical closeness, which starts with the way you smell -- no kidding. Be sure to wear cologne, then, but nothing too overpowering. What you're after is that all-important first kiss, and while mistletoe season is over, kissing season isn't. It's still capable of making or breaking that tricky, tender trip toward intimacy with this equally tender, sensitive sign.

There's really only one word that can be used to sum up Scorpios -- and it goes for any Scorpio in any place at any moment of any day: passion. They're passionate about anything and everything they do. So you can only imagine how passionate they might be when they're face to face with someone they're attracted to, enough to actually want to kiss them. If that's you and you've been aiming all your energy in that direction, there's only one thing to do: forget about everything else in the world and focus on the kiss. Of course, with the way they kiss, that really won't be much of a challenge.

Take a look around your home, or ask someone to be brutally honest about how it feels to be there. If they tell you that it's homey, comfy and they just feel good when they're sitting in your kitchen, great. If not, invest in some paisley appliance covers, a whole bunch of knick-knacks and a welcome mat for the front door. Then, invite your Cancer sweetheart over for dinner. Cook (or order in) something absolutely delicious. Once they're comfortable and fed, prepare yourself. They'll be ready to initiate the kiss -- which will be just as warm and wonderful. In fact, you probably won't want to stop at just one.

from Eric Francis:

JULY 7, 2009

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

You're working with a lot more creative mojo than you give yourself credit for. The thing to do is stop worrying about what 'will work' or 'what people want' and stick to what you do the best; and what you want to do the best. I suggest ceasing all comparisons to others; all advice-getting from people who supposedly know more; and stick to brainstorming and taking action on your own ideas. If collaboration is not working, forget it; you have everything you need. With that in mind, remember that the right collaborator can be crucial, but in this particular case the form that interplay will arrive in is likely to be intuitive; a hint, a clue, an inference. Indeed, if I had to sum up Tuesday's eclipse for you in one word, it would be subtle.

I've done something I may come to regret..........
I'm dating a Gemini.
I'm breaking my own rules!!!!!!
But so far he's sweet. And then there's the sex.........WOW is all I can say.
I know it's always a crapshoot and that fish+gems=too many minds in a two person relationship.
But I'm gonna give it a go because, well, it's been a long time since someone was this into me that I was also into.
And I may still be in a sex haze :)
And I've known some good Geminis......well one good friend at least. Then there are the crazy ones......
But I'm not gonna be a total astrology nerd and break off something that's fun just because I'm scared the stories might be true (again).
Pisces women with Aries men! Opinions, please?!

Alright... So I might be very interested in this Aries male I met last night at an 18-years birthday. I noticed him at the moment I arrived at the party, and we began talking after a few drinks and such, and before we knew it, both his and my friends were leaving and we were left with the rest of the party. So we spent the -entire night- in each others company and talked losely about this and that, but were over-all very entertained with each other, obviously.

After some mild flirting and such, he took initiative and leaned in to rest against me. I love cuddling, so I was fine with that and we ended up entangled in each other, no kissing no nothing, but just enjoying the comfort, I guess.
I obviously enjoyed it.

So when the party ended at 6am we were told to leave with the rest, and since he lives far away, we crashed at my friend's.
Again, nothing intimate happened... Next morning I got him something to eat and such, and we left because my friend had to go to work. At the station I came to think, that it would be awesome to meet him again, so I said. "I want your number" I didn't ask, I demanded it.
And he was like, "allright, sure!" and he gave it to me. So I text messaged him a few hours later so he could get mine.

..... So, now I don't know what to do.
I've read about Pisces / Aries compatibility on the internet, and some say it can be a good match, others don't.
So, does anyone have some personal experience? Advice? Opinions?
I'd really like to know him better, but I just don't know if I should message him and when or if he will get annoyed and such.
D':

I suck, I know...

I am curious to hear how many Pisces find themselves introverted. I know I am. I mean once I am comfortable I can talk with the best of them but I usually enjoy hanging out and listening and observing and adding inputs or a joke when it feels right other than being a main player in a conversation.

Just curious if this is some kind of Pisces trait or do most of you feel extroverted.

what are your thoughts on cancers leaving?

I don't intend this thread to turn out as a cancer bashing one ! but.. I've just experienced my first ever connection with a cancer and it was incredibly strong and amazing... the only problem is::::

every cancer I've known myself and through friends and family have ALWAYS LEFT the relationship- and usually after it's become very serious (i.e after marriage).

Now I know that this is an obvious generalisaion and all relationships that do end need to be instigated by one person however my experience of people I've known who've had someone leave them that someone is usually a cancer.

Or on the other hand, it's usually my cancer friends that are breaking up with their partners. Eg my cancer friend broke up with his scorp gf after ages of dating and the list goes on..

The reason I"m asking is that given these obserations I've become very cautious never to enter into a relationship with one.. And then this connection came along

Your thoughts?

ps as some of you already know I"m in a relationship with a scorp and there has been no cheating on him with this cancer guy, we just met at a bar last week and the connection was intense

Hey everyone! I'm currently dealing with an ex bf that has a Pisces sun, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Pisces, with a Taurus Moon and Mercury in Aquarius. I have no idea what to do. We are trying again for the third time and now I'm not sure. He has kind of disappeared on me, again. I know Pisces have a tendency to just come and go, but what is the norm of it really? Is there any advice on how to handle this, cause i've tried contacting him and nothing. The last time I talked to him was on the 15th.

Oh I'm an Aries Sun, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Gemini, Scorpio Moon, and Mercury in Aries.

For Pisces, specifically, How long as a pisces will you stick with a relationship before you decide to dump it cuz it's going nowhere ? Mention if you have at least 2 pisces influenced in your chart

From what I've read, pisces as a group, nevermind your other planets, like to know where things are "going " relationship wise, right ? ( or wrong ? )

Granted yea individual planets skew things a bit per person, details need to be applied to the universe but in general as a pisces, how do you figure out to dump a relationship barring that everything else is going well except, you have no idea if the other is serious or ever plans to be ? I mean, we are supposed to have a great track record for picking the wrong ones, right ? ( ok so far in my case, that's correct unfortunately)

Well that's pretty much the question. Post if you have more than just the pisces sun. I'gve got pisces in 3 areas, but the majors would be my sun and asc

What signs do you attract?

I bet this will be all over the map!

Personally, as I age, I seem to attract different signs. When I was younger, I attracted (and eventually married) fire women.

Sag, Aries and I married a Leo. Marriage ended in disaster because she tried to change me. I didn't fit her "model" so she tried to bulldoze me into being something I wasn't. I'm flexible, but no one is that flexible.

After I broke it off with Leo, I ended up involved with a Libra woman. Polar opposite of my ex-wife. She couldn't make any decisions to save her life. She coasted along on my coattails and had the nerve to bitch to me that I wasn't "achieving" enough. I put up with her bi-polarness and wishy washy behavior for many years till I just couldn't take it any more.

Broke it off with her and now I seem to be attracting earth women! Taurus and Virgo women seem to be attracted to me especially.

What signs are drawn towards you?

Mine, I think is Taurus.

I'm a Pisces with a Gemini moon. Only my Mars and Saturn are in Taurus, and yet I like Tauri. I have a tendency towards anxiety and spinning out-of-control. I'm almost never anxious around Tauri though. If I go to a party (where in the past my social anxiety would have left me shaky) - I can look to the Tauri, and be fine. They are really solid individuals. My only issue with them, is their seeming inability to compromise - you can either go with your plan, or their plan - but they don't fuse plans well. Also, they never admit when their wrong. Though, even without a verbal admittance they'll generally work to make things right in the future.

--- Go ahead and generalize in your answers.

which do you pick and why ? TAURUS vs. SCORPIO vs. CANCER then, why are pisces such fools in love ? dont forget to Post : Sun/Moon/Asc

Curious, I saw "Why Scorp over Taurus" thread, then Cancer & Pisces threads...... so wondering, which would or do you prefer ?
Sad to say, I've never met a Scorpio that worked out for me romantically ( we always ended up with friends or one of us was always dating someone else, or dating availaibitilies were never in sync, etc) And never met a male Taurus for the same reasons.

SUN: Pisces MOON : Cancer ASC : Pisces (stinks I got water all over me)

And a total fool in love, always ending up with the wrong guys for me in some form or another.... Not that a connection hasnt been made with 1 but waiting for that AHA ! soul reaching type of overwhelming love I geuss lol
I've linked mostly with Cancer and Fire or other earth signs (sighs) but what do you prefer and why ?

When have you decided to break up for good?

OK, I know we're all meant to be the 'long sufferers' and boy do we do this.

However, can you share with me your experiences of when you've thought 'ok, that's it, it's over for good' and have actually left your partners??

My scorp is letting me down on a number of fronts and I've been putting up with it for long. But he's just getting worse.

Why can't I just leave? My biggest fear is leaving him and then thinking I made a mistake.

Looking at me and his astro profiles, can you guys give me some light as to whether or not it is really a good match.. and I might just at least try to make it work..

I'm at a turning point here and I'm in desperate need of some fish to fish advice on what to do. I'm at a make or break stage and I trust mostly other piscean's opinions.

me: pisces sun; cancer rising; gemini moon
him: scorpio sun; taurus rising; gemini moon.

Thanks

There is an astrologer-blogger who says just this!

Below is from:
http://mysticmedusa.com/

I was just reading that the house featured in __Ferris Bueller’s Day Off__ is up for sale & including – obviously – the amazing Ferrari garage overlooking the ravine that featured in the ‘you canned the car’ scene. If you don’t know what I am talking about, apologies but i adored this movie sooo much & weirdly, so do my kids. But sign is Ferris??? I’m thinking total Pisces…

(pics of Ferris and the house on the blog!)

...........do you agree? (I loved this movie!)

How to keep a Pisces faithful when they have Venus in aries

I chased this woman and swore she was the woman of my dreams. When the only part of me that believes that is Pisces. I wish to be faithful, and I swear I'm in love. But Venus in Aries the one that chased and conquered now becomes bored and restless with the dreamgirl. That is until something drastic happens to break us up and then the quest is on again. It's like a big game that I live to replay and play again, losing and capturing again the lost love. This is not fair to her because she is a loyal Taurus and expects stability and security in love which Pisces is so readily and able to fulfill, but Aries just messes up. Because he's bored. How do you train the Venus in Aries to treat love as a gift and not as an award?

from http://www.cainer.com/

__Infinite Woo Woo__ Wednesday, 17 June 2009

Neptune takes 164 years to orbit the Sun. At the risk of sounding a bit woo-woo, I am coming to see how Neptune symbolises our potential to deepen our relationship with the infinite.

-- Jonathan Cainer

May we all deepen our relationship with the Infinite!!! Blessed Be for a wonderful Solstice, New Moon, and Neptune's birthday!!!!
as I, ( a Taurus/Gemini Rising and Moon) find myself skipped over when a Scorpio comes about with all their overt sexuality.
and I would like to believe that there is a Pisces in existence that
prefers a Taurus over a Scorpio....and not just sexually but for other reasons as well.

I would appreciate perspectives and experiences from you lovely fishes on this matter.

Summer Astrology

I just got my newsletter from astrologer David Pond, and I thought you all would appreciate it, too. Here's what he wrote:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

IT'S A SUMMER OF LOVE, BABY!

We have an extremely positive astrology aspect with us this summer: Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron are conjunct in Aquarius, the sign of universal brotherhood and sisterhood. This is a tremendously positive aspect to tune into, but it is happening in the middle of social cultural change of cataclysmic proportions:

Pluto in Capricorn; we are in a correction cycle of the excessive expansion of the Pluto in Sagittarius previous 12 years. Policies that are not sustainable are in upheaval.

The Uranus opposite Saturn aspect that occurs five times between 2008-2010; A major upheaval of status quo. Saturn rules time and Uranus quickens whatever it aspects, so this is a major acceleration of our experience of time. We are in warp speed, but we can see that we are in its dormant phase right now through the summer, a bit of a hiatus of more waves about to come, so utilize the time, but don’t get lulled into thinking things are finally getting back to where they were. They are not, and they won’t. We are at the end of the era of elitism and favoritism.

So the big three astrological events of this year are Pluto in Capricorn, the Uranus opposite Saturn, both portending huge shakeups in the existing structures of our current lifestyles; and the third in the middle of all this is the Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron conjunction in Aquarius in mutual reception with Uranus in Pisces. This gives us this rare window of opportunity to catch hold of some positive vision within it all.

Oh sure there is the potential blind spot of illusions; naysayers will certainly say: “Oh no potential for illusions! You might run the risk of feeling good inappropriately!”

Ways of being with the energy

The Wheel turns and so it goes. Lend your vision to the best we can be. Stretch. Aquarius calls for the “I” to become part of a “we”. Not a sacrifice of the self, but an alignment to that which is in your best interest and the best interest of others as well. Aquarius gets it; to pull each other up is to pull yourself up as you are part of the collective. Help improve conditions in the world and your personal situation is benefitted as well. Aquarius is about community building.

To access this energy requires a high positive attitude. You want to give yourself permission to soar to go where this can take you. This is an opportunity to send some positive energy into a troubled world. It is about the collective, but the collective is made up of each of us and the work you do of shifting your energy to a higher vibration has its impact on the collective as well.

These transits suggest a boundary-less way of being; expanding so much so that everything is inside you. As a meditation, explore your commitment to truth and expand it, challenge yourself to encompass everything. Be large enough in spirit to encompass even opposing thoughts; at least give them the right to exist.

Imagine there is an angel of inspiration whose job it is to give inspiration to humanity. Now who will the angel give the juiciest morsels? Those who would follow though and act on the inspiration? Or those who would let it pile up on the backlog of un-acted upon inspirations.

Do you have inspiration constipation? This comes from not acting on this backlog of previous inspirations, and then strangely enough, this is when you will want inspiration! To improve your relationship with the angel of inspiration, develop a daily practice of asking for a piece of inspiration you can follow through on today. It can’t be heal the world of hunger, but it can be take a can of food to a food bank, or call someone you have compassion for, or, or, but whatever it is, don’t go through the day without acting on the inspiration. If it’s late, make a donation on line to a food bank, but one way or another, develop a trusted relationship with this source and see if you don’t start getting juicer and juicer inspirations.

All that unifies furthers, all that separates impedes. We have an opportunity to move to a unitive state of consciousness. What is not part of the Universal? Start from there. As Hugh Jackman, the actor and philosopher says, “If Jesus, Buddha and Khrisna were having dinner together, they wouldn’t be arguing.”

There are many things in our world that need to be fixed, but this isn’t about problem solving, it’s about reconnecting with vision and reawakening the dream that is worth dreaming.

Have a marvelous Summer!
Sidereal realization...

Hey everyone, I thought I should put this out here and maybe most of you will be shocked at your discoveries. Astrology as we all know and what is traditionally used is called tropical astrology, meaning it follows the seasons of the earth. There is a Zodiac, most people don't know of that is called the sidereal zodiac. There are 2 zodiacs in existence and only 1 can be real. Tropical goes by the theory that everything revolves around the earth and that we(the earth) have been perfectly balanced and therefore the 12 signs remain in place to affinity. Sidereal, on the other hand, is based off the stars and keeps track of the earths axial movements over time giving us a (correct) assumption of where the 12 signs lie. Each sign moves about 1 day every 70 something years and that tells us that obviously traditional tropical astrology is innacurate unlike sidereal. For explainations on why sidereal is not a favorite or traditional method for astrology check out the link below. You will also find the information reguarding my words below as well.

In the traditional(or western) zodiac that we all know of I am an aries. Yet according to sidereal I am in fact a pisces...and there's no doubt I am more pisces than anything else.

I mean, after all, Mr. Albert Einsein is a sun aquarius, moon libra and gemini rising...talk about real brains.

Aquarius-Pisces Cusp

i have a theory that most other pisces born on the cusp with aquarius prefer to identify with the more cerebral, constant air sign than the more volatile, deep, mysterious fishes. ultimately, i think, aquarius is a water sign who went bananas and just had to get out of all those emotions. carrying them in a jug, he can bear them; he is less adept, however, at swimming. we cuspers have a tricky place in between. our tendencies lean toward both absolute emotional immersion and cerebral emotion observer. balancing these two perspectives is work for me and i wonder if there are other cuspers working the same story and how y'all are doing with it. i think, ultimately, i'd like to live the integration of the two: to be immersed, steeped, in my emotions and, simultaneously, learning, applying and articulating that experience without either aspect being compromised.
what are my cuspy brothers and sisters feeling and thinking?

Fed up with Scorpio bff

Hey, I've been best friend with this scorpio girl for almost 4 years and I seriously, seriously, don't understand her. I'm always on my toes when I'm chatting with her. She's known for her fiery temper, and can be pretty violent when she's in rage. In the past, when we're both in the same class, she often has problems with people. She thinks that she's being herself, so it's either you bear with her or there's nothing to say. We got along very well; we laugh at the silliest thing and made a fool of ourselves, and it is already proven that we can read one another's mind (we're able to say what's on the other party's mind). The thing with her I can't stand is, she uses her humor to hide her true self and intention (and not as if I can't see what's going on). She can suddenly go all defensive with me and I don't even see that coming and how that could happen. And I always have to back down or distract her for fear of offending her.

Sometimes I asked her for opinions on certain things, I can feel that she's never really honest with me even when I ask her to. Seriously, I don't think we have any common interests at all. There's nothing really we can talk about. I'm so fed up right now that I can hardly think straight and think of what really is the problem with our friendship. We're both emotional and short-tempered and I feel I'm always the one compromising her. I'm always there comforting her when she's angry or upset. I do that so much that I can hardly remember when was the time she did that for me.

I feel there's no trust in our friendship. There's like this unspoken suspicion between us that I can feel. I really do not know if it's me, and my worrisome mind that thinks and read too much or what. But I feel this friendship can no longer be this way. I'm tired of always being her emotional supporter. I can never tell her my problems freely without thinking if she's really sincere to listen and whether she understand what I'm going through.

The time when we both did not talk for a week or so, was because I was writing and she just slammed her stuffs on my desk. She always move to sit with me for certain lessons. So I was already fed up about something, not her, I picked the pile up and slam it down on the desk beside mine and went back to my work. And because of that, she thinks I wasn't happy with her and she wasn't happy with me the way I treated her stuffs. We got back after a week or so, and we both treated as though nothing has happened. We didn't even talk about it at all.
Now, we're chatting online and she was showing me one of her friends' artworks. I thought her friend's works was all right but she thinks highly of it. And when I show no much interest in it, giving like mono replies, she said that one of our friends (also online, having a convo with her) and I were acting strangely. Then I said, so you expect me gush all about his works and say like wow, so good etc. And she said, ok fine. And just went offline. I'm like, what's the problem with her? And now, I'm angry with her and we're not talking.

Have you guys encounter such people/friends like this before? Do they drive you nuts like the way she does to me as well? Please tell me honestly, even if the problem lies in me. Thank you.

Risk

I have a capricorn friend (girl) who has introduced me to the world of poker. She has a Pisces Moon, but has a lot of Sagittarius in her chart. I admire her ability to take risks even though its scary. She's recently working on becoming a professional poker player and is already well acquianted with the big players in the circuit. I've played three poker games at the casino in the past month and enjoy the game. Without her, I probably wouldn't have worked up the nerve to have accelerated from non-poker player straight to casino. I've also gotten back into bike riding and enjoy riding alone to sort through my thoughts. That isn't too risky, but pedaling out where there's not too many people, alone, is sort of risky. Someday when I'm 65, I will sky dive.

As a pisces, what kind of risk taker are you? Do you take risks? In your life, do you have anyone you admire and possibly emulate?

Pisces with Aquarius HELP

Hi im a male pisces sun with venus in aquarius
I got to know this female Aquarius sun with venus in Capricorn friend and we been really getting closer
at first we just started to click and things went well, not SO close but closer than a casual aquantance
She has a boyfriend but lately we have been hanging out a lot because we have classes together and got really closer
when we are alone together we tend to flirt a lot and she touches me a LOT (grab my arms, rest her feet on my knees, putting her head on my lap, kissing me on the cheek wehn shes really happy)
But the thing is this only happens wen we are doing school work (and most of the time I am the one helping her)
she gives me this loving vibe that i cant get enough of that ive been slowly doing more and more favors for her (buy her medicine when shes sick, help her on her hw, i even wrote a whole essay for her)
then wen she doesnt need me for anything she doesnt text or call. I do call her and text her but she is always busy with something else
this is wen i get upset and emotional so i tend to pick a fight with her about it
for some reason im all emotional and shes all logical so i always tend to lose the arguments
i think im very emotionally attached to her cuz im a pisces and i was wondering how i can become more detached and unemotional
im also so confused as to what im feeling because mentally i know that we are just friends, but my heart wants to be more than friends with her
I want to keep this friendship but im growing more and more attached to her and wanting more from her, which i think might make her more detached from me
so fellow pisces anyone have any suggestions for a pisces to stop being so emotionally attached that it might break apart a friendship?

Piscies Venus, Piscies Mars means multiple love interests

A chart like his (" too much Piscies" ) with all that piscies energy in sun, mars ,Venus, together with Sag and Libra means you are probably going to have to share his affections with many others (not necessarily women, may be team mates, band members,, etc.) because he is into multiples. Whenever a persons' venus and mars is in signs which has a pair, like gemini or piscies, their affection/attention is usually going to be split simultaneously , not easy to remain focused on one love interest. . Sag is screamin for freedom, libra wants to share the love and Aquarius is ok wtih doin the love grove any way but the old way while Taurus moon means his strong desires and intense sensuality probably get him into trouble being so attractive ( and it kinda really doesn't matter what he looks like). with this combo, he can be a real charmer, sometimes finding it hard to say no to illicit rendezvous. .May escape into drugs, sex, or drinking to relieve stress. '

Charts - Don't know my birth time

I have been reading up on this stuff and found that the description of Pisces describes me freakily well. So I have been reading up on this stuff as much as I can. I actually came across this tribe doing a Google search on Pisces and have been learning a lot catching up on all the postings. I could not write anything because for some reason tribe would not send me the confirmation email and I nearly gave up but I tried one more time yesterday and it suddenly sent me one. Well anyways, a lot of you have been talking about your charts and houses and so on and I looked it up to learn more and what I found is that I need my birth time as well. The problem is I was born in Chile, a long thin country in South America and my mother does not have a birth certificate for me and she is not even sure of an approximate time of my birth either. Am I just out of luck here if I can't retrieve a Birth certificate? I would like to get my chart. Does anybody have any advice out there?

People calling Pisceans weak. This may be my Scorpio moon talking but I can think for myself damn it! I don't take ANYONE'S advice unless I have sat on it for awhile. Pisceans may seem timid and we do absorb things but it is filtered and it is not necessarily beer bonging the entire load of information (do you like my descriptive words hehe) from person to person. I think the fact that Piscean are so capable of putting on that face of "doe eyed wonder" comes with a great advantage, people trust Pisces. And they should but we are not all air... actually not at all. Opinions please people. :P

I know our sign is supposed to be bit of a dreamer, but do you ever find yourself dreaming the day away? i've been trying to be productive and i usually end up spending the first hour or two daydreaming off and on, without even meaning to. i dream so much actually, that it's only recently that i actually realized this trait in myself! obviously this isn't going to help me when i really need to get down to work, do you guys have similar experiences/advice on how to stay in "reality" ;) ?

Procrastinate Much?

Hi all-

So, I have a 4:00 class shortly, and a 500-750 word essay due that I have not even started on.

I'm not sure why, aside from the fact that I know its damned near impossible for me to do all of the reading required for it in time.

On this note, my questions would be:

1. Do you procrastinate? If so, what's your favorite distraction?
2. Do you think something in the pisces nature makes us this way?
3. How do you resist the urge to avoid things/put things off?

Any any other advice you can add- or thoughts you have on this are welcome. :)

Thanks!

Pisces Men vs. Pisces Women....How do Phish Coexist? What are the differences?

This past year has opened my Phish eyes to Pisces men. Prior to 2006, I've never been aware of them and can't say I've given any thought to dating Pisces men.

Until this year.

Last February I was taking a class at the University and I found out that three of my classmates were Pisces. They were really great guys! And I thought any woman who had one was very fortunate. They were jovial, good-natured, smart, flirtatious, and funny. They were all working professionals and were married, some with children. I was blown away when I found out they were Pisces.

I've known Pisces women. I dont think we exude that much sexiness as the Pisces men do. I have a neighbor whom I just found out is a Pisces and who has been giving me the Phish Eye for the past year....I didn't pay any attention, until now. He's very sexy. (What am I thinking??)

I have a lot of sun signs in my chart and I think I'm more Yin than Mr. Pisces. I guess I'm just thrilled that you Pisces men are hot (hotter than Aries definitely) and I can see what the women in other posts were referring to.

I have some quesions.

1) Are Pisces men sexier then Pisces women? Or is it that they extrovert sexiness more then the women do? I think they do.
2) I've noticed that Pisces men do play the game as well as Leo. Why? It seems that Pisces and Leo follow the code of "Anticipation".
3) Why haven't I noticed Pisces men before??? hahaha.

Harmless Pisces?

There is this pisces guy who has started to take an interest in me, he´s really dreamy and cute, but I can see through him - and I have a feeling he´s not all nice and dreamy...

I´ve always thought of pisces as the most peaceful sign becuse you people are so sweet and beautiful and shy and all that. But these couple of days I started thinking - what if that´s not true? There are some bad pisces out there, you know. Like Aileen Wurnous and Richard Ramirez, who both happen to be born on february 29:th (now that´s creepy). And also some of Charles Mansons biatches have been pisces. Man, where they messed up...

Then there are my uncles, who haven´t always been so nice to their wifes. One of them used to beat my aunts head against the floor so bad that she would bleed infront of their children. Yes, this is true because my cousin told me so, and so did my aunt. By the way, this uncle of mine is a very charming man and I can´t help but loving him anyway, but that´s not the point... The point is that even though all my pisces uncles aren´t wifebeaters, they´re all sexist and if they don´t beat up their wife or kids, they are either overly strickt or some other sick stuff, like cheating and so on... They are all very big and strong men, but they have no problem beingn mea to smaller creatures then themselves.

This is a paradox, because they are all so sweet, smart, funny and creative - and I have always felt loved and protected by my uncles. I just don´t understand where all this hidden agression and darkness comes from.

Guess `´m just wondeing - Is it safe to date a pisces?

Btw - I am a peaceful capricorn

Fish Tales: Encountering Evil

I have a friend who is born year of the monkey, is a Leo, an INTJ, and is an 8 of clubs. She has the capacity to balance delving into the mind of psycopaths and it used to freak me out, until I realized she wasn't one, she was just studying them. Last fall, I was watching a psychic investigator show last fall, and they were trying to solve the case of an american indian boy from Montana. They re-enacted everything and at the end showed his picture. When I saw his face I could feel my heart cry. And felt an injustice, but no anger. My own reaction surprised myself, the empathy, the compassion, I was sitting in my chair wondering where is this coming from? I can still see his picture to this day.

Of the water signs, Scorpios have three levels..our world, the above and the below. My understanding is they can go through all three phases of experience and use those experiences to transform themselves. I interpret that as, if anyone can get over the creepiness factor of sitting with a Hannibal Lecter character for an interview...it would be a Scorpio. Because being in the presence of evil, I think Scorpio could slough off that negative energy easier than a Crab or Pisces. Not sure how most Crabs or Pisces would handle the negative energy of the same situation.

Since the Fish is sensitive to its environment, and we can sometimes tune into vibes, how does evil in this world affect you? Do you think it balances the world to have it exist? Evil is definitely the by-product of choice. It's the end result of someone's choice in most cases. Have you ever dreamt something horrible, to find that it occurred several months later, perhaps on the other side of the world? As a Fish, what do you think and feel about this?

Unusual Energy Portal OPENING

One of my spiritual teachers is Tosha Silver. Here is something from her recent writings:
-----------------------
Something incipient is in the air.

Something new,

as Easter opens the door.

You can just feel it.

For the rest of April we enter unusual planetary transits indeed.

The first half of the month was meant to be rocky, with a series of Saturn oppositions creating the need for release and purification. I've been writing up a storm about ditching everything you don't need to make psychic and physical space.

This is also a consummate time to pray to abandon old grudges, resentments and vendettas, including those against yourself. It's never too late. They will only block receptivity of the beautiful vibrations headed our way.

Starting today, aptly timed with Jesus' resurrection, we go into rare and exquisite planetary alignments for about three weeks. In fact, I've never seen anything quite like this in thirty years of star-gazing. (And for all my spiritual predilections, I'm restrained, even sardonic, about predicting massive shifts.)

But I tell you.

This is big.

First, on April 15 Mars and Uranus, the planet of the unexpected, will meet in Pisces. Opening act of major surprises. Then April 17, Venus will go direct after its six week retrograde. If you've been dealing with endless relationship and financial snafus since March 5 some may begin to resolve.

But that's just the prelude.

The upcoming waltz between Mars and Venus is the pièce de résistance. Venus has just retrograded to 29 degree Pisces, the final sacred degree of the zodiac, where She will simply sit for the next seven days like the Holy Mother waiting to give birth.

By next weekend, April 19, Mars will be moving forward in Pisces to meet Venus at that cosmic threshold.

For the following week Venus and Mars will move together out of that ultimate Piscean degree of purification to 0 degree Aries and restart the zodicac.

Major new beginnnings may well ignite on relationship and creative fronts. But it's bigger than all that. Venus and Mars uniting to cross this zodiacal doorway really is about the tantric integration of the masculine and feminine in all life, the Shiva and Shakti that dance to create this shimmering galaxy.

It's not hyperbole to say that energetically over the next three weeks a whole new world is born.

And here's a great twist.

As an astrologer, I've been noticing this upcoming configuration for awhile. But a few days ago a friend let me know of a coincidental development in the Jewish calendar.

"Birkat Hachama" is the return of the sun to the place it was at the time of "Creation.". It happens once every 28 years. But this past Tuesday was the Big of the Big. For only the third time in recorded Jewish history this sacred day coincided with Passover, the holiday of Liberation. So this event which hasn't occurred in 1,923 years is considered a literal Re-Imagining of the World.

And western astrology is saying the same thing.

So is that arcane and exalted form of God (who may or may not have a planet named after him) Stephen Colbert.

Check it out.
http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/224061/april-08-2009/birkat-hachama---stephen-frees-his-jews

1) These coming transits are a high harmonic of heart-chakra energy inundating the planet for a considerable stretch of time. Venus and Mars together at 29 degrees Pisces carries a pure vibration of heart-based transcendence. So this upcoming period is a highly unusual portal. Certain actions can help you be more receptive to its gifts.

2) You may have to do some preparation to resonate with this celestial opening. If you're filled with resentment, guilt, blame, jealousy or hatred, you'll have more trouble aligning with the incoming frequency. So this next week is a good time to do some clearing. It can help to pray that the heaviest emotions be released by your Higher Self. If you sincerely ask for this, you'll be shown the actions to take for release. Feel whatever you need to feel.

3) Can be good to make a list of all the people against whom you have grudges and petty grievances. Offer the list to the Divine, then burn it. You can also write a letter that you don't send to the person, and burn that. This process good for blame towards yourself as well.

4) Resentments, even when they're 'right and 'logical'', just lower our own vibration and hook us psychically to the ones we wish to escape. We literally 'carry them on our backs'. So forgiving someone can actually be a generous act of self-love. Especially right now.

5) Acknowledging the Divine as the Source of all abundance makes forgiveness so much easier. This simple understanding changed my life completely Someone may hurt us, but God can always bring a new conduit for fulfillment.

6) Calling in Divine Order can be helpful. I've simply been saying, "I invite Divine order through all areas of my life to prepare me for this upcoming time. Let me release all that needs to go. Let me welcome all that wishes to come."

7) Release any irrelevant activities to make positive time with yourself. Go slower, breathe, feel.

8) Sometimes when I'm really stuck, I use a trick from India. I buy a coconut filled with milk and imagine putting all remaining attachment, fear, or unresolved energy into that. I let it becomes the container for outstanding karma and offer it to the Divine. Then I go outside and smash it to bits. The release is palpable.

9) Continue to clean out your home, your car, your belongings. Create a vacuum that will be filled with the new. Jettison whatever you don't need.

10) John Gray's silly book (Men from Mars, Women from Venus) notwithstanding, the energies of these two planets have nothing to do with gender. We each contain the energies of both. Granted, the balance may be tipped one way or another in someone, but that can be regardless of what astrologer Caroline Casey would call "highly temporary gender assignments." A woman with a lot of Aries might be more 'Martian' than a guy with much Cancer. But you knew that, right?

11) This can be a good period for a light fast or cleanse.

Even just fruits and vegetables or light eating for a few days could be helpful.

12) The process of releasing and preparing can be really enjoyable. Many people have written to say they were feeling these transits, a sense of 'incipient expectation" as one woman put it, without having a clue what was going on.

I guess this was an offshoot of anyother post, but I'd like to see it all here - curious what the pisces group "tends " to type out as...

I was surprised to take the test several times and still come out as an INTJ ( at least it seems counterintuitive for a water sign to have this ) *but* for the first time had enough INTP to come in at a very very close 2nd.

What's yours ?

in case you havent tested yet, here's one place to take the test. I was hoping to find the longer version but couldnt find the site.

Love and light to my watery bretheren. let's dance in this mental sea of chaos and control.

ran into this today.
In the past few weeks you have veered close to the edge of blissful triumph. From what I can tell, you averted total ecstatic breakthrough and fantastic raging success by only the narrowest of margins. If you don't want to go all the way in the coming days -- if you'd rather remain faithful to your fear of success and fall back into your humdrum comfort zone -- you should slam on the brakes immediately. But I warn you: The cosmic pressure to push you over the top into loopy, grinning, shameless victory is almost irresistible.

mwa hahaha.

mental peace my sisters and brothers. may your storms be energy for your waves.

Seriously, I think us Pisces men got the crappy end of the stick. Compassionate? Sympathetic? Shy? Sensitive? I don't know about you, but those aren't exactly the kind of characteristics that should be associated with us men. But yet we can't help but BE compassionate, BE sympathetic, BE shy, and BE sensitive, because... guess what... we're Pisces. Even if we, quote on quote, "go against the tides", deep down we're only kidding ourselves. Everyday is a freakin' emotional and psychological struggle whether we realize it consciously or not. How is a girl going to appreciate us as potential mates if when we try to "be ourselves" we only end up revealing our weak nature? Often times I wish I was an Aries so I can be brash and assertive, or a Leo so I can be courageous and arrogant, or any other Zodiac besides a Pisces. But I can't. I am what I am.

Ladies... and fellow Pisces... help me out here. Is there any hope for us Pisces men?

I've been working setting up puters at a Tibetan Buddhist Temple lately. I've gotten to see a Buddhist monk become angry, and the irony is not lost on me. The thing about her anger that impressed me the most was that once the anger had past, she was perfectly serene. Just like throwing a rock into a still pool of water makes waves for a while, then becomes still again once the waves subside. Her balance was thrown for a moment by whatever tech problem we were dealing with, but she seemed perfectly balanced once the anger had past.

What do you do to center yourself? How do you keep your balance, when the world tosses you around like a piece of driftwood at sea?

I came across this article this morning and I hope it will not be a trend, but apparently a company in Austria wants to only hire, Capricorn, Aquarius, Aries, Taurus, and Leo. A study was done showing that those signs were statistically the best employees.

Personally I can see why Capricorn would be on the list. As I was reading it I said to my self that Capricorn had to be there. Every Capricorn I know rocks when it comes to work. I know about 9, not the biggest scientific sample I know but still 9 out of 9 is still good.

So I have to ask, what does everyone thinks about this?
Do we Pisces really suck when it comes to work?

Pisces Dating A Aries Man For The First Time??

I am a Pisces gal, entertaining the idea of getting into a serious relationship with a Aries Man, I would marry him if he asked me to! It is exciting but scary at the same time, because I am not use to a man pursuing me so heavily...I have casually dated every other sign, and I found that I am the most compatible with Capricorns(my ex is a cap) & I think Aries, because Aries seems to be extremely family oriented, the Capricorn (my ex), due to the fact that I just like there style, our ambitions match, but he just could not give me the emotional support I need, and I am ready to start a family soon & he is still climbing the corporate ladder... I have read that Pisces & Aries are not compatible, but I don't know... I am super ambitious, and a go getter, and I enjoy the finer things in life, I think it is due to my capricorn rising! Me & my aries guy talk alot, we have talked about going into business together, & the things that we want from a realtionship & life, but I don't know. He is very direct, if I was not into self development, I would have dumped him long ago, but there is a quiet sincerity about him that I feel, but he always puts his foot in his mouth from time to time.. I am very much attracted to him sexually, I let him know this& he tells me he has never had a women so attracted to him in this way... Is he serious?? When we talk about love & relationships, it almost seems as if he waiting for my reaction, and if it wasn't what he thought, he will say that he is just kidding! He is tall, has a nice athletic body & is extremley attractive, and has a very good income... He calls & text me everday!! Does this man really like me the way he says, or am i just one of his latest conquest! I need to know, because this is driving me crazy???? How does aries men really feel about pisces women??

Sincerely,
Pisces Chic
