  • i think it's more the norm than not.
    • I think most pisces do

Saturday night I said an art car was going to roll, and a couple of hours later it did, I was in bed when it happened and it was not mobile when I said it...oy
      • yup. we are supposed to be the most sensitive in this area of all the signs. its supposed to be built in sorta. empathic, psychic, generally able to sense things on a level that most people can't.
        • Unsu...

Wow! I get that from both Scorpio and Pisces? Jeesh! Hahaha!
          • scorpios just want to be as endowed as pisces.
            err, technically speaking.
i mean scorpios are empathic, which pisces are too, but pisces are supposed to also be psychic.
all water is sensitive somehow. i dont' understand how cancer fits into the picture

but here's a way to look at it:
all of the elements are divided by maturation so there is young, mature and wise or saged or some word like that - i probably have the words all wrong but you get the idea.

so going around the dial from the beginning are all the young signs - aries, taurus, gemini, cancer
then the sort of more aged ones - leo, virgo, libra, scorpio
then the wise ones - sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, pisces

so in away its like cancer has some sensitivity, scorpio has a bit more, and pisces has the most.

here's a site that i like that steve brought in - read about all your signs in here, its nice. read especially scorpio and pisces and i think it will give you a good comparison:
            members.shaw.ca/susanna1/pagesix.html

i ignore everything besides the descriptions of the purposes of all the signs. :)
            • Arize...my mind went into the gutter when you said endowed...I thought well....
              • indeed we are well endowed! :P
                • indeed...

                  05/10
                  };)~

lightbringer, that's your beard there right?
                    • A test... see if your psychic abilities can tell what I'm thinking right now...

                      {playing the "Syncopated Clock" music...}
                      • yer thinking you want PIE!
                        • Unsu...

Let me guess! He wants Pumpkin Pie! LOL!!!
                          • eeewwwwww!!!! put that noodle away light bringer!

(now if i could just type out characters in the shape of my ass....)
                            • *drooling*
                              Now THAT'S a piece o' PIE!
                              • Unsu...

You hit a point there arize! Have you realized as the signs progress they do become a bit more sophisticated and a bit more wise and spiritual and also a bit more what people would call on the borderline of insane? I think thats interesting. I mean the last signs consist of Aquarius (The mad inventor), Sagittarius (The philosophical clown), Scorpio (Not 1 word can really be used lol), just to name a few!
                                • actually, while i think scorpios are more insane than pisces, the oldest of the bunch is Sag, Cap, Aquarius, Pisces. scorpios are like the oldest of the middle group.

but still, those four signs are all kinda nutty and way out there of all the signs.

but this thread would make you think that pisces, the oldest and supposedly wisest sign, is also the silliest of all.

see cause when you said i hit a point, i thought you were gonna talk about my ass.

possibly this is the insanity you speak of.

and then i think of people like myself (of course) and notice that i have LOTS of pisces and aquarius, the oldest 2, but also lots of aries, the youngest. hmmmm. what does that mean?

but yeah, i think it makes sense to see all the signs in terms of element then age.
                                  • "...i thought you were gonna talk about my ass."
No arize, Yubba wasn't gonna talk about your bee-hind.
                                    That's *MY* job!
(if I keep this up, arize is gonna hit me wif a stick...)
  • OK, I'm going to be serious for a bit.

It does indeed seem the case that the laws of synchronicity and chance bend a bit more around Pisceans that with most other signs. Psychic ability, magic, quantum flux, call it what you will. Is there something about the sign of the Fish that has this paticular energy? It would seem so. And yes, it seems to work somewhat better when Pisces is inhabited by particular planets or occupies certain Houses, and/or aspects certain other planets and signs with auspicious combinations.
The sign of Pisces isn't the only sign, for sure. But it does seem stronger with Us.
    • well, yes, back to the serious note
      pisces rules neptune

      from Bob Marks Astrology

Neptune: Where we see the world through “rose-colored glasses”. Where we see what we want to see. This is the planet of imagination as well as illusion. If Neptune is strongly placed in the horoscope, the person is most likely to be considered imaginative and sensitive. Negatively, there is a potential for substance abuse. Once more, I must emphasize that the whole horoscope must be analyzed before jumping to conclusions. Neptune rules the sign of Pisces.

and pisces is the natural ruler of the 12th house:

Twelfth House: Self-undoing, psychological problems, restrictions and places of restriction, hidden enemies (as opposed to the open enemies shown by the 7th house). I know, it doesn’t sound like a nice house, but strong placements here usually increase one’s intuition. This house corresponds with the 12th sign, Pisces, sign of intuition, dreams, and compassion.

and then what that site says about water signs:

Water is emotion and “instinct”. Fire Signs seem to want to burn away all obstacles. Water Signs, by contrast, want to enfold EVERYTHING, be everywhere, cover as much as possible, and more.....Water Signs (emotion) frequently clash with those who have an emphasis on air signs (intellect) because those with an excess of water are frequently unaware of the steps they are taking when thinking. It seems to the Water Sign people that they just “know” something to be true. When the air sign folks press them for the reason Why they said something, the Water Sign person has no answer. So each goes off thinking that the other one is stupid. In the horoscope, Water Signs show where we emphasize emotion, nurturing, and intuition. Without the Water Signs, we could never really Feel and life would not be worth living.

anyway, so that is to say that pisces IS THE spacey psychic sign.
we're supposed to be extra sensitive, intuitive, we are about the blur between dream and reality, our knowlede is from feeling and that feeling wells up from some deep mysterious place in the ocean.

and here's an interesting article comparing pisces and scorpio in their healing/curing abilities. it says basically that scorpios cure while pisces heal.
      www.stariq.com/Main/Artic...0001132.HTM

(see, as much pain as scorpios seem to project, i know they are our kin as water signs. sorry, can't help it.)

a quote from the above article:

"As Pisces completes the round of the zodiac, it is believed to represent the meeting of the physical and the spiritual, and to strive for total body-mind awareness, solving the mystery of existence on Earth. Pisces also implies the capability to channel energies from the spiritual world to the material. Thus, powerful healing abilities are associated with the sign."

ok, that is all for now. :)

speaking of 12 house waters....my friend (a virgo! gasp! :-O) passed along this link i though you'd love to read....back to ' being psychic' topic .... this might explain why........it is.......so.......

        www.energetic-medicine.net/rese...r.htm

now speaking of pisces being well endowed, i've only been with one pisces guy, and yep, he sure was hung! hehee ;-)

scorpios are psychic, but i find they project more then receive...or receive consciously, or wanna consciously intergrate what they receive. i find that unless they are evolved, the sign has a hard time with going through the process of death/rebirth...it's more of a struggle for them then for a pisces. not to sound too prentious here, but we glide through, they are awkward...and unrefined...i haven't met too many refined scorp males...but then again it's the 'raw-ness' that adds to most of the excitement.....for short periods of time mind you...heh.

i think water is psychic no matter how you look at it...so whenever you got water in your chart so it is........i'm lately getting used to it....for years it shocked me and make me second guess....but it's actually quite natural.
now, like i said before, if only i could predict the lottery numbers...rather then the bad stuff... :-P

        • Unsu...

          ps- i'm a 12 house pisces.......hahahaaaa...................aaaaaaahhhhhh...
          • it used to freak me out how my scorpio dude seemed to know some stuff about me as if he had asked my friends.

i think it freaked him out what i knew about him without asking too.
            • Star fish... 8th house Pisces/Chiron/Mercury here... I think that whenever I say that I should be hearing funeral music or something.

Arize, I just had met a Scorpio guy who I thought wouldn't understand some of the things I see. I did his chart for him and it turns out he is a 12th house Scorpio so maybe I didn't seem as weird as most men think I am! LOL
              • I've just decided that to "fix" my scorpio i love to hate, he should have been a 12th house scorpio. that would have made him sag rising and virgo MC to help him carry out his cancer true node calling (me you and him are all of the pisces chiron generation) as well as communicate with me more. :)
            • the hard part is knowing parts of people that they don't know those parts of themselves --which isn't that unusual or surprising, presuming that we all have fairly vast parts of ourselves that we're in denial of, for one reason or another. However, some of us (piscean/12th house/neptunian types) are able and inclined to be more attentive and receptive to the inner workings of others than most. That's not bragging, it might be "better" in some ways (at least for ourselves) if we weren't. I consider myself to be very adept at reading people's particular strengths, weaknesses, challenges and motives (etc). The question of whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is contingent upon the extent to which I can set my own interests and motivations aside and the extent to which the other person can trust that I am indeed doing so. Otherwise, it serves no purpose.

              or something
