My grandma is Cancer Sun, and I adore her. She would stand up for me when no one else would. She made our house into a home, and would spend the entire day in the kitchen feeding all 9 of us. You can't dis love like that.

Funny that this topic came up. My friend, a Capricorn, is seeing a Cancer...he's younger. Totally fits the Crab profile. That's all I'm saying, but she was asking me to explain the Crabs. In my personal experience with true Crab men (no ascendants, no moons, no Jupiter in Crab...I mean the real Crab man) it's like talking to vapor. The same with true Scorpio men. I mean, they never say anything that's truly important, but in hindsight, I think that what they're saying may really be importan...but as they're talking to another water sign, it's water talk. I swear to the gods that most times I could swat at them like a cat, and my hand goes right through them. That's crab and scorpio men. I use alot of energy when talking to them, because it takes a lot to try to remain focused on what they're talking about.

Crab men are sexy though. I'll give them that. But then they go off on a tangent and as a fish, it's funny because it's like watching a labrador run a wide meadow and then disappear over the hills. And then they're back. In my mind I can see it, and feel it, and this is the best way I can express it. Oh, they're hot alright. But I can't hug vapor!!

Scorpio men? Anybody agree that most of them have curly hair or wavy hair, and thick chesty hairs? I think scorpio men are hairy.

And yes Cancer men can be vapid and looney, but they are just trying to conceal their inner squishy goodness. Cancer sensitivity is legendary, and the need to hide behind humor and vagueness to protect their vulnerable interior is equally legendary. Lots of deep water down there if you can get past the hard shell protecting it.

Wow, I feel like I wrote this post. They are waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too emotional. They change their personality/mood every 2.5 days with the moon. You never know where you are with them. Interesting is fun (like Aquarius), mood switching emotionality is not.

I guess my Venus in Pisces sq Uranus just doesn't like the smothering that comes with constant pure drowning emotionality without the flowy expansioness of Pisces or the burning intensity of Scorpio.

IMO Scorpios and Pisces have the best intrinsic bond. But that just may be my Venus trine Pluto and Pluto, Mars and Saturn in Scorpio talking.

LMAO..I haven't been here in a while...and this was the first post that caught my eye..lol....I dated a Cancer for five months....HOLY CRAP.....he was everything I wanted in a guy while simultaneously being everything I couldn't STAND.....crazy huh? He was handsome, motivated, devoted, caring, sensitive....

But.,..he was TOO devoted...TOO caring...TOO sensitive and a borderline stalker....Geez..I needed more balance...which sucked because with a little less extreme-ness he would have been freaking perfect!....

I had to draw the line when he put the tracking device on my cell phone and then accused me of not really being at work when the device said I was somewhere else (my office was so new it hadn't been added to the GPS).....again...WOW!

I am Cancer Sun Scorpio Moon Sag Rising ... and Cancers' are the shit sooooooo stop hating, we are the yin and yang of astrology and ALL the signs have positive and negatives. Funny how people try to talk trash on Cancers and then when someone is lonely and looking for sympathy or someone who understands your pain or joy Cancer is the sign. Cancers' are special in many ways but I don't have to go into detail ... yeh we are sensitive but NOT soft, there is a difference lol.

and now that I think of it, growing up, my best friend and her brother (ooh I had a wild crush on him) were cancers...utter loons but so kind to me and others.

Hey! Don't write off all cancers just because you've been burned by one! My best friend is a cancer- and generally, cancers and pisces get along well together. They protect us with their hard shells while staying with us in our watery, emotional world.

It depends on their charts- and yours- as to whether or not you'll get along. But a leo/cancer cusp is by far the most thoughtful, determined and hardworking person I've ever met, personally.


Don't overgeneralize!

I recently lost the most precious Cancer woman in my life. My Grandmother died last week. My grief was overwhelming. I've been mourning her and remembering all the kindness and love she rained down upon me while she raised me. She was such a gentle soul, I'll probably go to my grave mourning her passing...

I'm finding that I have struggled with Cancer women along the way but have not had an issue with Cancer men, though I have never dated a Cancer man either. The closest I got there was a guy who had a Cancer stellium and it wasn't very pretty and he did use manipulation to get me in a sack when all he wanted was something purely sexual knowing I wanted more and he was willing to manipulate the situation to keep me going.

I don't know if that was his heavy Cancer or not but it really doesn't sound like his heavy Taurus. *heavy sigh* yea this Pisces girl is still struck by a loser.

I have to agree there shadow, they are emotionally scared little rabbits that u want to slap and shake to get some feeling out of.
